In the wake of the Franco-Prussian War, that created the country we now know as Germany, Gabriel Florence finds mystery of his own. Traitors must be close and the past he thought he shook off is even closer. The mystery will eventually lead him to cross paths with characters new and familiar.

Aside from revealing the title, the short film introduces the character ERA. She is the fictional author of the book and this is a taste of her story. (No, she’s not in the book either.)
